Partners

The partnership is made up of six partners from six different European countries which include BUPNET GmbH (Germany), die Berater Unternehmensberatungs GmbH (Austria), EUROCIRCLE (France), CESIE (Italy), BEMIS (UK) and APOWER (Romania).

BUPNET, Bildung und Projekt Netzwerk (Project and Training Network) is an adult education provider and one of the core members of REVEAL, the European research and practice network owning the validation system LEVEL5. Moreover BUPNET has been one of the partners of the RIVER project and can provide the consortium with the know-how in applying the LEVEL5 system to the validation of competences reached in volunteering activities. BUPNET will be in charge of the project management activities and will coordinate the validation activities.

die BERATER is a private company focused on education and training, coaching and counselling which led the former RIVER consortium. die BERATER has a lot of experience in European projects,  competence assessment in informal learning settings and the development and application of the LEVEL5 validation system.

EUROCIRCLE is a European NGO that develops and carries out transnational projects, particularly in the area of the international mobility of young people. They have a relevant experience in coordination, hosting and receiving of European volunteers, advanced education courses and trainings for youth social workers about international exchanges and voluntary service abroad. Over the years they gained experience in supporting disadvantaged young people, by promoting inclusion and equal opportunities.

CESIE, European centre of studies and initiatives, is an Italian organisation that works towards the promotion of cultural, educational, scientific and economic development at both local and international levels through the employment of innovative and participative tools and methodologies. CESIE has developed a strong experience in mentoring, particularly blended mentoring targeting migrants, thanks to the project Tandem Now , aiming to create role models for migrant youth or youth from ethnic minorities throughout the vocational career.

BEMIS is the national ethnic minorities umbrella body supporting the development of the Ethnic Minorities Voluntary Sector in Scotland. This partner will play a relevant role in getting in contact with potential migrant volunteers, who are one of the main target groups VALLEY will focus on.

APOWER is a Romanian organisation that coordinates many voluntary programmes, mostly in one of their centres specialised in supporting services for victims of domestic violence and sexual abuse.
